Haverhill Rovers v Woodbridge Town
A comfortable 2-0 win for Haverhill gave them their first win at home for three games and condemned Woodbridge to finishing in the bottom three
The away side lost Craig Stuart with a hamstring injury in the 29th minute before the hosts went ahead two minutes into added time at the end of the first half, Rory Thompson's corner from the left met by the head of Luke Parkinson at the far post, who beat goalkeeper Liam Daniels with his effort.
Multiple chances for the home side eventually paid dividends a minute over the allotted 90, substitute Marc Abbott's corner on the right eventually coming to the feet of Dan Cornwell, who beat three defenders inside the penalty area before placing his shot over Daniels and into the roof of the net.
The game could have had more goals, free kicks from range by Sam Mead and Jack Mead providing three chances for Woodbridge and Dalton O'Brien, Dan Cornwell and Parkinson also missing other opportunities for the hosts.
