The under 15s were the only Rangers side to collect three points, with the under 12s, 13s, 16s and Reserves slumping to defeats, writes TOM OWEN.

SENIOR

The First Team were not in action this weekend.

The Reserves were marginally beaten by Ruthin Town at the Gladstone by a controversial penalty with just minutes on the clock.

JUNIOR

The under 16s featured in a 9-5 away defeat to Mold Juniors. Goals from Dan Jones, Adam Hoole and a hat-trick from Rhys Peers weren't enough to provide Rangers with the points.

On the other hand, the 15s travelled to Mynydd Isa where they picked up a valuable 4-1 victory to keep the competition tight in the under 15s section. Goals came from twins Sam and Jack Guest, Alex Jones and Ed Lloyd.

It was the third straight defeat for the under 13s. An 8-0 drubbing from table toppers Flint Town Juniors leaves Rangers in the bottom half.

The under 12s found themselves involved in their first league defeat of the campaign. A 3-1 away loss to fellow title chasers Holywell Town finds Rangers four points off the top. Hawarden's only goal of the game came from Liam Smith.

The under 14s did not play this weekend.
