Football is back at The Gladstone

The Opening game of the season marks the 2017 FAW Fair Play day

Saturday 12th of August is the FAW Fair play day and Hawarden will be taking part during their opening league games. The aim of the FAW Fair Play Award is to encourage a reduction in on-field misconduct and promote the FAW Fair Play Code.

There is a dedicated page on the FAW website for Fair Play, which highlights the work that the clubs are doing throughout the season. The FAW’s ‘Off the Pitch’ twitter account will also be used to exemplify a club’s good work.

The Reserves (2016 FAir Play Winners) Under New Manager Shaun Antrobus welcome Flint Town to the Gladstone and First Team Manager Mark Evans with new to the senior section Assistant Leighton Sumner travel to Corwen.

Both teams will be displaying the Fair PLay logo on the sleeves of their shirts and a combined team photo will be taking place behind the FAW Fair play banner prior to kick off.
