The first Heath try came from Josh Salisbury after a great break by Dan Fergusson following a scrum on the half way line - Fergusson managed to allude three tackles before offloading to Salisbury who crashed over the try line and put a score on the board. A conversion by Casey Calder made the score 7-0 to Heath. Forward pressure from Heath dominated the opening exchanges but Heath were wasteful in not turning the pressure into points when the opportunities arose. However Chichester were not able to sustain the continuous efforts of the Heath pack and a penalty kick from Calder put Chichester on the back foot within metres of their try line. The subsequent lineout was won well by Heath and Salisbury went over to score his second try of the match. The conversion was missed leaving the score at 12-0 to Heath.

End to end play followed with the boot being used by both sides to try to gain territorial advantage with the Chichester half back partnership both showing strong kicking skills. After 28 minutes Calder broke through the Chichester line and zigzagged his way through five or six opposition players, rolling out of tackles to drive over the line, converting his own try to take the score to 19-0. It was not all one way traffic however and Heath had some defending to do as Chichester threatened the line after their own five metre lineout, but the subsequent maul was driven back by Heath and the ball cleared off the line. Defending on the Heath 22, Salisbury again pounced on an opportunity, intercepting a Chichester pass and running three-quarters of the length of the pitch to score and leave the tally at half time, 24-0 to Heath

The second half started with a period of exciting end to end play which led to Heath using its bench to bring new energy to the pitch. After strong forward persistency, Euan Greaves-Smith scored but no conversion meant that Heath were approaching the final third of the match at 29-0. The try-fest was not over for Heath as Casey Calder again stole the initiative and scored a great try under the posts. Although somehow he contrived to miss the easiest of conversions, the score board continued to tick over to 34-0. Heath kept to their task, wanting to demonstrate to the coaching team and their supporters that their first weekend loss was a blip to be forgotten. Nick Miller made a great roll away break, off-loaded to Jack Lucas who stormed up the left wing and passed to Tyler Edwards who cut in to score near the posts and Calder converted taking the score to 41-0. A true team effort that showed the spirit and commitment of the Heath squad.

In the closing minutes Jack Best found the energy for a great run down the left wing before scoring the final points of the match taking the score to 46-0.

A fantastic effort from all members of the Heath squad who put their hard work on the training pitch into good effect and kick started their campaign to push for promotion again this season.
