Eastbourne arrived with just 12 players so Heath loaned their bench to facilitate a 15 a side game and ensure everyone got to play in the glorious September sunshine. The home side demonstrated sound defence and great set piece rugby ensure good ball for the backs who ran in 12 tries in total, 9 of which were converted. Final score 83- 12 (recorded as 62 - 12 for league purposes).

A very good all round performance by Heath U16s against a spirited Eastbourne squad and huge thanks to the Heath players who deputised for the opposition, showing the true vales of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and overall sportsmanship, making rugby the winner on the day.
