Heath Under 7s enjoy Cobham festival

6 months ago By Tracey Spuyman

Two Heath U7s teams travelled to Cobham on Sunday...

... playing teams from Rosslyn Park, Hazelmere, Farnham, Ironsides, Chobham, Reeds and Effingham & Leatherhead. This was a great opportunity for the young Heath players to gain invaluable experience against opposition from outside Sussex.

The players are beginning to see the fruits of their labours on the training ground being translated to success in competition. Heath enjoyed playing an exciting series of matches and were awarded the Respect trophy based on one of the RFU's five TREDS principles - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship. The whole squad had a fantastic day in the sunshine and, as you can see in the photos, the Under 7 coaches used the opportunity to reinforce the camaraderie and teamspirit in the squad.
