Senior Tournaments

Headingley CC Currently play in 6 Competitions during the season.


The Joe Dews Cup - a T20 over tournament involving 6 teams with their origins in friendly cricket, play in the spirit of the game. Though some of the teams, such as ourselves have moved into League Cricket, the tournament still exists. Games start in April and are spread over the season on a league basis. The top 2 teams then play a final late in the season to decide the champions. Headingley CC are the current holders.


The Senior Evening Cup - this is an evening knockout tournament played between Wetherby League sides and commences in Mid May on Tuesdays. Only members registered with the Wetherby League can participate.


The Fred Fleetword Cup - a 40 over knockout tournament played between Wetherby League sides and commences in Mid May on Sundays. Only members registered with the Wetherby League can participate.


Headingley and District T20 - A T20 tournament played on a league basis on Thursday evenings during the season from Mid May to early July.


Copmanthorpe Eights - an August Bank holiday one day event played in an eight a side league format. Headingley CC are the current holders.


Wetherby Cricket League Division 5 - A Saturday League format of 45 overs a side. Played from April to September. Headingley CC are the current Division 6 Champions.
