Match preview – Saturday 29th November 2014

Heanor will entertain Barton Town Old Boys at The Town Ground in a fixture that always yields goals including eight goals in the two fixtures last season (a 4-0 win for the home side in each fixture).
Barton are currently sat in 7th place in the NCEL Premier Division, 4 places and 9 points behind Heanor after playing the same number of games
With one win in the last five matches, a win over Bootle in the FA Vase first round on 1st November and a potential banana skin against Division One club Winterton Rangers on Wednesday night they could arrive at The Town Ground with a run of only two wins in their last eight games.
Heanor have only suffered one defeat in the last fourteen games, a run going back two months since the win at Armthorpe Welfare on 23/9/14, the only defeat stands against league leaders Tadcaster Albion who have made an impressive start to the season. With Heanor wanting to stay in touch of the league leaders it is imperative that points are not dropped at The Town Ground, with crowds up to the highest average number the club have seen for at least 20 years the players are relishing playing in front of such a great support.
