- Tony Squires, Press Officer

Heanor Town FC are looking for an addition to the press team for the 2016/17 season.
The role is voluntary and involves primarily producing accurate, entertaining match reports for Heanor Town FC fixtures.
Focusing on the first team, who are to play their second season in the Midland Football League Premier Division, the expectation is that all deadlines are met in order to give the club maximum exposure in the local and national press.
You are expected to be able to work within a small team, offering support where needed.
Reports will be written and emailed to the current Press Officer, Tony Squires, by agreed deadlines each week.

If the right person approaches the club then the role of Press Officer is available. This includes the match day announcing, updating Facebook, Twitter, the official website as well as producing the match day programme as well as overseeing a well established press team.

Currently the Heanor Town FC press team are responsible for a twitter account followed by over 4000 people, a Facebook account followed by over 2000 people and a YouTube account with over 13,000 views.

Do you want to be a part of the team that produces such wide-spread coverage for Heanor Town FC?

If this role interests you then please contact Tony Squires at t_d_s@hotmail.com, or contact through the club’s website as soon as possible.
