There will be a meeting of the supporters club this coming Thursday, I will not be there due to other commitments. Those commitments mean I will not be able to have involvement with The 12th Man for the foreseeable future.
I need to be honest, the attendance at the last meeting was disappointing. With a fan base of 150+ at most home matches I would have expected more than the FOUR that came. It is holiday season, people have other commitments, and there are a million reasons for people not being involved.

The question that has to be asked is – do YOU want a supporters club?

There are two options currently;
1) Transfer all the remaining funds in the account to the football club and cease to exist
2) Continue to rebuild. Increase the profile of the club in Heanor and encourage more interest in the football club.

I hope that as a group of supporters it can be agreed that the second option is the only option.
