Having missed most of last season through injury, Ali's hard work in training has seen him return to the 2s and turn in some memorable performances leading the bowling attack. Racking up 3 five-wicket hauls he's the clubs leading wicket taker this season by a considerable margin and one of the top five wicket takers in the league.

April/May: Ayaz Cheema

Starting the season on the 2s, Cheema produced brilliant all round displays scoring 78 runs and taking 11 wickets in the first 3 games. He was promoted to the 1st team and delivered a match winning performance, scoring 61 to inspire the 1s to their first win of the season.
