Heaton Mersey Guild Lacrosse Club

Lacrosse was well represented at this year’s event with Craig representing Heaton Mersey Guild and Stockport and Alison Cara representing Brooklands and Trafford.
All of the nominees were the winners of the local borough awards, with all 10 boroughs represented there was some tough competition. Unfortunately Craig didn’t win and neither did Alison they did however get the opportunity to have their picture taken with Leo Houlding world famous rock climber, who took on Jeremy Clarkson in top gear and guest speaker for the evening.
Volunteers are the lifeblood of any sports organisation and all would struggle without their constant support, often they are not given the recognition and praise they deserve, and although Craig didn’t win we hope that he and all our other volunteers at Mersey Guild know that they are truly appreciated, and without their support our Lacrosse club would not function.
So a big thank you goes to all our volunteers... Keep up the good work !!!!
