Prior to the league game against Aspull on September 16th, Sue Platt presented a set of jerseys to our 1st XV Captain, Danny Child, which she had donated in memory of her husband Tony, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

On the front of each jersey is printed the RFU Core Values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship and on each left sleeve are the words 'In memory of and with thanks to Tony Platt'.

Tony had been a supporter of Heaton Moor for many years and especially the 1st XV, regularly watching their games both home and away.

He was always very generous to the Club, both monetarily and with his time and would provide whatever support he could without prompting. He is sadly missed by all who knew him.
