The best news possible leading up to the new season is that Hugo Corbett has agreed to lead the club in the forthcoming season.
Steve Nicholas who has done such a brilliant job in recent seasons has also been persuaded to stay on as forwards coach to give Moor an exciting and talented back room team which will be aided and abetted by Physio Steph Ingham.

Speaking with Hugo who will start the role next Thursday commented that he is looking forward to the job and having the opportunity to work with young front row players like Dan Durber Ben Jones & James Salter.

Hugo is going to be a busy man as he has recently secured the England North Under 18's top job and he is also sitting on Cheshire's RFU disciplinary panel.

The news though hasn't been universally appreciated as Steve Nicholas's wife has threatened to kill him after he promised her a season off and when told the news of Hugo's appointment James Salter's only comment was " Why Hugo? He got us relegated"
