Ruck around the clock

Last weekend we split the squads up as they headed off to two different locations. Red were entertained by Ashton on Mersey (AOM) where they played a triangular fixture with Old Bedians and AOM. Blacks and Amber travelled to Marple where they took on Marple’s one team.

Under 11s rucking has really improved this season, winning adn retaining more ball but players decision making wether to contest is also very good helping to maintain a strong defence. Marple were technically better tacklers on the day but did struggle to cope with U11s fast and creative attacking play.

Harvey and Caelan were awarded our players of the day.
