Helsby Lock moves on.

Ex Helsby second row battles his way into Chesters 1st XV.

Second row mountain Tom Gregory has found his wings and decided to move on to Join local Senior Club Chester.Tom like his father John who represented Helsby for over 10years,said he was sad to leave the Club where he has many friends but felt he would be able to develop his playing careea futher by the exposure obtained at Chester.Especially with the Hare lane club helping in the develoment of Tom Foden into an International player
.A Helsby spokesman said 'We are sorry to loose Tom,but happy to bring on a player who has the ability to step up to the plate with our local Senior side.No transfere deal was discussed and we would be happy to take any newcomers to the game and feed them into Chesters 1st XV as Tom has done'.
