National Award For Helsby Stalwart.
Congratulations to Tony Ryder for winning Rugby Worlds Unsung Hero Competition.
Tony has been with Helsby Rugby Club for over 30yrs and was selected from hundreds of entrants to be the winner of Rugby World Magazine 'Unsung Hero' competition .Tony has carried out every Roll at the club from Club Captain to Groundsman and in the opinion of the Committee fully deserves this prestigious award. Lets hope that he will continue to be the cornerstone of the club for the next 30yrs !!. The write up can be seen on page 136 of Augusts edition
