On 16th Feb the Helsby U9s boys and a few from the U8/7s, along with parents, siblings and grandparents were lucky to be invited along to watch Widnes Vikings first Super League home game of the season against London Broncos. Widnes ran out comfortable winners 64-10 on a great day for all, and for many of the boys a first visit to a professional game. The boys were lucky to get onto the 'i-pitch' after the game and also meet a few players. The boys were a little star struck, but certainly not as much as their mums were...........who all seemed pretty desperate, if were honest about it, to hang around outside changing rooms.................
