The Tudors host Hayes & Yeading United at Vauxhall Road this Saturday.

The Tudors go in to this game on the back of a 0-2 win at Eastbourne Borough last weekend. James Simmonds provided assists for a goal in each half, Oliver Hawkins scoring the first and Jordan Parkes with the second. Our away form is still very good despite a defeat at Havant & Waterlooville in the midweek leading up to the Eastbourne game, winning three (all with clean sheets) out of four away games. Our last home game was a draw against Weston-Super-Mare a fortnight ago, stopping the run of consecutive defeats. The Tudors will be keen to secure the first home win of the season, although it will be a tough and competitive game against this weekends opponents.

This is Hayes & Yeading United’s fourth away game so far this season, they’ve won, drawn and lost in their last three. Overall, they’re on an equal ten points with The Tudors, having played one game less.

Following today’s visit of Hayes & Yeading United, next week we kick off this seasons FA Cup efforts with a home tie against Dunstable Town. This will be an interesting meeting with The Blues, they’re on good form in the Southern League Premier Division and their current squad features numerous ex-Hemel players, including last seasons championship winners Shane Blackett and David Hutton. The following Saturday we’re away to Gosport Borough, our next scheduled home game is against Ebbsfleet on Saturday 18th October 2014 however the 11th will be another FA Cup tie if we beat Dunstable Town next week.

The match day programme features an interview with Tudors midfielder Luke Allen as well as the usual notes of manager Dean Brennan. Dan Talbot also reflects on the opening stages of the season, there’s the usual Mel-Teaser quiz page as well as all the regular statistics and information.

Kick off is 3pm. Hemel FC have an agreement for the Dacorum Education Support Centre car park on Tenzing Road to be used for fans parking on match days. A turnstile has been installed on that side of the ground for access. This provides an alternative entrance for fans arriving from the west of town and will ease congestion in Vauxhall Road.
