WILSON WINGS IN FOR A MONTH

By Tony Conway, Friday November 1

Port Vale’s Wilson Carvalho joins the Tudors on a month's loan.

Squad update from Football Director Steve Boone.

Following a recent spate of injuries and forthcoming suspensions, the Tudors have acted quickly to temporarily strengthen the squad with the loan signing of Port Vale’s Wilson Carvalho.

The 19 year old, who started his Youth career at Fulham and then Stevenage FC, is primarily known for his pace on either wing but has had experience in other positions. He then joined the Nike Academy and during the summer had impressed whilst on trial with Birmingham City before eventually signing a contract with Vale.

Pending FA clearance, the Londoner will join up with the squad for tomorrow’s FA Trophy game at home to North Greenford United.

We welcome Wilson to Vauxhall Road and hope his stay is an enjoyable and successful one. We would also like to thank Jimmy Bell, Micky Adams and the staff at Vale Park for their support in allowing Wilson to join us for the month.
