We were met with a beautiful afternoon for hockey! The importance of a win could not have been over emphasised as the hardy 3's took to the field. Lovely bursts of running from Sally & Claire F started us on the right foot and before long we were 1 up. A defensive reshuffle left us in sixes and sevens at the back resulting in a goal being conceded which was not on the match plan but hey ho things happen. A stern team talk at half-time helped us re-group mentally and we went ahead mid-way through the 2nd half and held on for victory. My highlight of the match was Mandy scooping the ball in to Naarz who was standing about 6 metres away :-) Well done girls!
