As the deadline for transfer's has now passed,Henfield fc were them-selves involved in a few deadline negotiation's...
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish tried to offload reject striker Andy Carroll in a swap deal with Jamie Smith and Steve Mundy. NO DEAL!!
Valencia tried to tempt Ben Valentine away with a £750,000 move for the shot-stopper,he rejected the move after only just relocating!! NO DEAL!!
Steve Scott was all set to go on loan to Barcelona for the rest of the season untill he also rejected the approach saying "I'm too good for them" NO DEAL!!!
And finally Henfield's only signing in the window,we can confirm it is former Faygate and Alfold all-rounder Martyn Jepson,He is a great addition to the squad and is welcomed with open arm's,he join's us fully fit and raring to go,a class player who will add more quality to the side!!
