The newly formed U14s team from Henley Forest in Arden Football Club reveal new club sponsor and kit to celebrate a flying start to the season.
The boys, backed by infamous chalk board commentator, Dermot Corrigan of Wootton Wawen General Stores posed for photographs to show off the new colours and design following their match with Racing Club Warwick at the weekend.
Russell Cox, Chairman of Henley Forest said “We are incredibly grateful to Dermot for sponsoring this new team and are very pleased with the new look, which the boys chose themselves after much deliberation! Henley Forest is working hard within the Henley area to provide a quality grass roots football club that can bring a sense of worth to young people of all ages. We will attain FA Charter Standard before the end of the year which will affirm our commitment to the sport and are now actively inviting children under 7 and 8 to train with us to form a new youth team.
The Henley Forest junior teams train every Thursday evening either at the Henley Memorial Ground or Warwickshire College Astro pitches – please contact Russ Cox for more information on 07711 350970.
