Henlow U10 development team travelled to Eaton Bray for their first match of the season. After Studham conceded to them the previous week, Henlow were looking forward to playing their first ever match.

Each team start with 100 runs when batting, with 5 runs taken off for a wicket and 2 runs added for wide and no balls.

Eaton Bray won the toss and chose to bat first.
Henlow bowled and fielded well, conceding only 15 wides and 7 no balls.
Harleigh took 2 wickets, with one of them being a catch from Lorcan.
Oscar, Lewis, Tom and Ollie took one wicket each, with Lorcan taking another catch from Tom's bowling.

Eaton Bray finished on 131 runs.

Henlow went into bat feeling confident.
Max, Rhiannon and Ollie made 11 runs each and Lorcan racking up an impressive 24 runs. Lewis, Tom, Harleigh, Aaron, Oscar and Kayode made 31 runs between them.
Eaton Bray took 3 wickets, made up of one catch and 2 run outs.
Henlow scored 88 runs, but with the 100 runs start, wide balls and no balls, their final total was 222.

Well done to the team for a fantastic start. They all worked well together and had a great attitude.
