If Hermes eventually manage to get through the much postponed Fourth Round tie at Glenrothes, lying in wait for them will be Ayrshire giants Kilbirnie Ladeside.

The teams have met once before in the Scottish Junior Cup in the Second Round in 2001. Hermes took an early two goal lead but were steamrollered in the end, conceding six goals without reply, giving 'The Blasties' a comfortable passage into the next round.

The Ayrshire side have won the Scottish twice in the 1952 and 1977 and they currently lie fifth in the West Superleague.
