North Regional Cup Final Wins.

Hermes have made winning appearances in the Final of the North Regional Trophy twice in their history, recording a victory by the same score on both occasions.

In 1998, at the Meadows, Ellon they overcame Cruden Bay in dreadful conditions with driving rain and a howling gale.

Both teams struggled to master the conditions but the game was goalless until the 83rd minute when Bay took what looked likely to be a winning lead.

However Hermes fought back, scoring twice in the last five minutes, with the winner coming deep into injury time, just as the ref was preparing to blow for full-time.

Things were a little more straightforward in 2004 when the Bridge of Don side completed a cup double, adding the Regional trophy to the Grill League Cup, won earlier in the season in a dramatic penalty shoot-out against Glentanar.

After taking a two goal lead against East End at Pittodrie, it looked as if a comfortable victory was on the cards.

However a late free kick by End made for a nervous final ten minutes but Hermes held on to clinch their second win in the North Region's premier cup competition.
