Sam McKenzie's loan transfer from Keith has ended.

Sadly for Sam, and Hermes, 31st May marked the end of Sam's loan transfer from Keith which meant that the big centre half, who played such a vital part in Hermes league success, missed out on the McLeman Cup final by a few hours.

Sam, who started in 40 of Hermes 43 competitive games and made a sub appearance in one more, scored 7 goals from centre half including a vital counter in the 1-0 away win at Banks o'Dee.

However it was his aerial prowess and well timed tackling in the box which did so much to help Hermes to limit opposition teams to 16 goals in 26 league games.

Sam now resumes his career in the Highland League and carries with him the best wishes of everyone at Hermes for his future. We're confident it won't be long before we are reading about his exploits in the sports pages of the local papers.
