Herne Bay FC Ladies will start their defence of the South East Counties WFL League Cup with a home tie in the 1st Round v Abbey Rangers at Winch's Field on Sunday 2nd November 2014 KO 2pm.

This date is also the round date for the FA Women's Cup 3rd Round Qualifying and if Herne Bay Ladies are in that (they play Crawley Wasps in the 2nd Round Qualifying) the League Cup match will be put back 7 days.

Abbey Rangers play in the South East Counties WFL (West Division) and, like the Bay Ladies, currently have a 100% league record.

The winners of this 1st Round match will be at home in the 2nd Round to either Worthing Town (West Division) or Parkwood Rangers (Premier Division).

In last season's SECWFL League Cup Final Herne Bay Ladies beat League Champions Bexhill United 3-0 with goals from Kate Foster, Vicky Holness and Harriett Chapman.
