Denly's thoughts ahead of the Guernsey trip

Herne Bay travel to the island of Guernsey today for a Ryman One South fixture hoping to bring back more than just duty free goods.

Ahead of the game, Sam Denly says, "We wan't to get a minimum of three points this week, we've got three already, so we go there, there's no real pressure on us. It's always going to be difficult to go midweek to Guernsey and get a result but we've got a strong squad going there which is really good to see. The lads are committed. We are going to go out there to get a result, end of! There's no 21s going, we're going there full strength, a few missing, but we're full of confidence and there's no reason why we can't go out there and pick up a win. We're in touching distance (of the play-off positions), so it's a massive game but there's no pressure on the lads, it's one of games in hand and we've got to be picking up points in those games because we see ourselves now as a top five side. We know we are good enough and if we want to be competing on that level then we have got to pick up points on the road whether it be Guernsey away or whoever. We've got a big opportunity so we'll be going there to bring some points home with us".
