Peter Guise previews the week ahead for Herne Bay Football Club.

Matches scheduled for week commencing Saturday 24th April 2015.

First XI

It’s the last game of the season for the first team in what has been a remarkable season and will see the Bay finish no lower than 9th in Ryman One South in only the third season in the league. Whyteleafe are the opponents. They have already made the play-offs and will want to go into those on a high as we will want to finish the season strongly.

KO at Church Road: Whyteleafe v Herne Bay, Saturday 24th April, is 3:00 PM

U21s

The U21s have no game having finished their league season as winners of the NRG Gyms U21 League East and progressed through a tough Championship Play Off Semi Final and will now play Cray Wanderers at Sevenoaks on Saturday 2nd May. However, there is still u21 action at Winch’s Field this Saturda when the NRG League take on the Essex Olympian League. There are no less than 7 seven Herne Bay u21 players in the NRG representative side.

U18s

The u18s continue their Kent Youth League programme with an away trip on Sunday to Phoenix Sports.

KO at Phoenix Stadium: Phoenix Sports v Herne Bay U18s, Sunday 25th April, is 11:00 am

Ladies

This season of big matches concludes with another big match for the Ladies when they travel to Gillingham. It’s a must win match. Victory will ensure that the Ladies finish as runners up in the League and eligibility for a 3rd successive promotion; this time to the London & South East Regional League, itself one step below the FA Women’s Premier League.
