Friday 28th February sees the launch of Herne Bay Youth's first ever Girls Football Mash Up. Sessions for Girls aged 12-17 run from 3.30 until 5.00pm

Herne Bay Youth FC will be working with Herne Bay High School to give the girls in the Community opportunity to come and mash it up with their friends. The idea is to let the children come along, choose their game, have some fun and banter, and enjoy their football.

Weekly sessions will be facilitated by Herne Bay Youth’s qualified coaches for a token fee of £1.00. Players will be issued with a loyalty card and this will be used for other benefits.

The Football Mash Up initiative is backed by The FA and Vauxhall Motor Company, and Herne Bay’s largest Community Club is looking forward to encouraging the girls to get their boots on, and learn new skills in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

To find out more on the programme you can visit the Mash Up Facebook page and our local contacts who are able to advise are Club Secretary Martyn Sexton (01227 375000) or Club Chairman Malcolm Vass (01227 364130). You can also contact Herne Bay Youth FC at this email.
