50 Years Old

2 weeks ago By John Irvine

2nd September 2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the opening of our current Clubhouse. Book your place at a very special supporters lunch now!

In 1967 Dick and Roy Crook along with many other Club members built the Clubhouse that thousands of us have since been able to enjoy and call the home of Hertford RFC and in which all of us have forged lifetime friendships.

The Clubhouse was officially opened on 4th September 1967.

On Saturday, 02nd September 2017 the 1st XV have their first home match of the new season and we are taking the opportunity of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Clubhouse.

This will include the unveiling of a new plaque recognising the significant efforts of the above members.

Our new President, Peter King, will be hosting a special supporters lunch that day and if you wish to book a table or a place at this lunch then please contact Chris Davison as soon as possible. Phone: 07729 236 587 or 01763 264 189.
