A big rugby day at Hoe Lane with:
The 1st XV play their last home game in 2018 when they entertain Sidcup.
The pre-match “Early Christmas” lunch is completely full.
There will be live music in the main bar after the game.

On Sunday, 02nd Dec 18
The Club's first Christmas Bazaar. We are going to bring a little Christmas spirit to the Sunday morning with a few festive treats on offer around the clubhouse, including:

  • Ben Storey will be selling quality Christmas trees at very competitive prices:
  • 5'-6' £35, 6'7 £40. For an additional £5 you can have it delivered to your front door (Ben will also be available for pre-orders and on Saturday, 01st Dec).
  • Ant Glover is back with his homemade fudge for those difficult to buy for people, Ant will also take Christmas orders.
  • Club Coach Baz will be offering Christmas tipples at competitive prices.
  • Picketts of Hertford, the well known local butchers based in Sele Farm, are also coming to Hoe Lane! You will be able to order your Christmas Turkey on the Sunday.

We have spaces for Club associated people to run other Christmas themed stalls on the Sunday. Please contact Kevin 07765 413 845 or Bunter 07900 888 131 to book a space.

On Saturday, 22nd Dec 18
Carols at Hertford RFC with Ware Brass Band. Doors open from 6.30pm. Carols from 7.30pm. Entrance: £2 per adult, children free. This year we will be celebrating its 50th anniversary at Hoe Lane!

This is a carol service like no other and is one of the events of the year at Hoe lane!

If you haven’t been before then grab your friends, family and tinsel and be ready to sing along to the Ware Brass Band’s jingles.

Taking place just three days before Christmas this will surely put you in the festive mood.

Regulars have learnt to arrive early to loosen their vocal chords with a drink or two and claim their favourite spot, mainly for the raucous rendition of “A Partridge in a Pear Tree”

During the afternoon there will be a cracker of a rugby match between the Club’s over and under 30's teams. Kick off to be announced.

We look forward to seeing you in the clubhouse.
