RFU Grand Draw - The Final Countdown.

The deadline for RFU Grand Draw has been extended to midday, Sunday 18th March 18

Please ensure all completed ticket stubs and monies are returned to your age group administrator the above date.

This is one of the Club’s main fundraising events. Since 2010, around £35,000 has been raised for the Club’s Projects Fund.

This Draw is a very easy way to raise funds with the Club retaining 90% of all ticket sales (they cost £1.00 each) as a tax free donation less administration costs.

Our record number of sold tickets was 7,032 in 2016.

In view of the works that are about to be undertaken at the Club (see below), all Members are asked to sell/buy their allocation of tickets which you should have received through the post or from your age group administrators. 17,500 tickets have so far been distributed to Club Members.

If you haven’t received any tickets yet or need more, then there is a supply behind the bar.

Our target sales this year is 7,500.

THE CLUB’S PROJECTS FUND

The Club’s Projects Fund was established in August 2010 and helps finance projects that fall outside the Hale Club’s general maintenance programme and will help make improvements to the Club house and grounds that are to the benefit all Club Members.

Over the last few years the fund has contributed in excess of £65,000 towards various projects including: new tables and chairs in the dining room & bars, redecorating and repairs to the club house and changing rooms, roof repairs, pitch maintenance, upgrading the floodlights, new sound & TV system and a £5,000 contribution towards the new driveway.

Income is generated from the Club’s socials and fundraising events and donations eg the Quiz Night, Summer Party, Xmas Draw, Plant Sale and the RFU Grand Draw.

The Club’s Board has recently approved new works that are to be carried out over the coming months that will require support from the Projects Fund.

These will cost around £30,000 and include:

• A new large shed to house the tractor and other machinery.
• New goal posts for several pitches.
• Upgrading the back car park.
• Further necessary upgrades on the floodlights.
