Last week was a really tough encounter and there were a few battered and bruised bodies afterwards. Our defence really stood up and that was the most pleasing aspect from Saturday's Sidcup game. Tuesday and Thursday’s training sessions have been quite technical and all geared toward playing Wimbledon.

We are starting Hewitt this week at looshead and the only other change is Barker starting at full-back instead of Smart. We feel this gives us a real power bench, with strike runners coming on as and when they are needed. The boys are looking forward to the challenge against Wimbledon and to keep this winning streak going.

The 2nd XV are going down to Bournemouth this week and Tom Webb is doing a great job with a young side and looking to develop the players in to future 1st XV players.
