Hertford A 29-31 Letchworth
This Sunday saw Hertford U14 A take the field on a cold and bright Sunday morning and uncharacteristically Hertford had a fast start and blew Letchworth away with 3 tries in 12 minutes to take a 17-0 lead.

Sadly this was to be the high point of the day as our boys stepped off the gas and handed the game back to Letchworth with some poor decision-making and some equally poor tackling. Even once we'd managed to drag ourselves by the bootstraps into a slender lead with less than a minute to go, bad decisions and defence saw us concede a try and the game with the last play.

The frustration is that the players are clearly capable of some staggeringly good rugby, evidenced at times on Sunday, but 4 games lost by 3 points or less turns a good season into a distinctly average season.

Training
Training will be lead by Torran MacDougall, who supported me on Sunday with the A team game, and will run from 18:30-20:00 on the training pitch, please do your best to arrive on time to allow players warm up properly.

Sunday 14th
Will feature matches for both sides with Hertford A facing Biggleswade away for an 11am KO, meet at 10am.

Stevenage and Hertford will face Watford B at Hoe Lane, with start and meet times to be confirmed later in the week when the club allocates pitches.
