One point in four months.
This was Heswall Youth's worst performance of this season.
The team which showed so much promise throughout the major part of the season, and topped the league table for most of the season sadly seems to have lost its way.
But strangely after-match analysis indicated that nobody really knows just what went wrong.
Neston Nomads first goal came after 6 minutes when Heswall's defence was caught unaware by a fast forward, then just on half time Neston scored again.
Heswall tried their best to get back into the game and reduce the arrears but just could not do it.
In Heswall's goal Scott Murphy had an excellent game, pulling off some crucial saves, and Zach Smyth continued to impress in defence.
Despite training with Heswall's senior West Cheshire players, and the majority of the squad playing 1st and 2nd division West Cheshire football when needed - they were unable to bring this experience to this under 18 youth game.
Heswall Youth have now not won a game since the end of November, have scored only 4 goals and conceded 19, and picked up one point in their last 7 games.
Besides the efforts of Scott Murphy & Zach Smyth,it was good to see Danny Lees back to his old form playing with more aggression, tracking back as well as causing problems in the penalty box after a season dogged with illness and injury.
