GROUND REDEVELOPMENT - LATEST NEWS
Further to recent speculation in the local press the club would like to take the opportunity to clarify the current situation regarding the potential ground redevelopment.
The club are able to confirm that the long-standing plans to redevelop our current Scraley Road Stadium are progressing positively, and it is hoped that our development partners in this scheme will be able to make a formal presentation to the club committee in the next few weeks.
The committee of Heybridge Swifts FC will then invite all club members to attend a meeting to discuss the plans in more detail, answer any questions, and address any concerns that you may have.
The club would like to re-iterate that despite reports to the contrary, any decision on a possible ground move rests purely with the members of the club, and any relocation will only progress once we have the secured the agreement, via a formal vote of acceptance, from our membership.
The club would like to assure all our members and supporters that we will update you on any further developments, as and when information is available.
