New Players Welcome
2011, another successful season for our youngsters. Heyford CC Youth Cricket has continued to develop, and the summer of 2011 proved to be another fantastic milestone towards future success for the Club.
In only our second season of competitive league cricket, the HCC U11 team achieved the runners-up spot in the Northampton and District Youth Cricket League, narrowly beaten to the title in a ’winner takes all’ final game against Wellingborough OG’s.
Building on the successes and growth of our youth development programme, we are proud to announce that this season HCC Youth Cricket will be entering two teams into the League, at U11 and U13 respectvely.
This positive and exciting step will give more of our youngsters the opportunity to play competitive matches, continuing with the Sunday morning U11s 8 a-side pairs’ cricket format, and introducing the new Monday evening 11 a-side game for the U13 team. We look forward to welcoming back all our junior cricketers, and invite new players of all abilities to come along.
As a club we have a proactive commitment to encouraging all members of the club to enjoy their participation in cricket in a safe and supportive environment. Having recently introduced a 2nd XI, we are keen to develop the club further and are actively seeking to develop youth cricket. To help us achieve our objectives we have introduced a number of policies and procedures which you can find within the Club Info section of the site.
It is important that all members of the club make themselves familiar with, and follow, the policies and guidelines contained in these pages to protect the best interests of everyone involved with the club.
