a suggestion of using scratch/football cards to raise funds for end of season trip was accepted by the people present.

Training:

Holyrood/Gyle would be used during the lighter months. Tuesday evenings will still be the agreed official training day.

First Aid:

As each team in the association is required to hold a valid SFA recognised sports first aid certificate, it was agreed that Manager John Pryde would attend a course in the near future to gain this certificate. The cost was estimated to be around £170 with the team funds covering this cost.

Home pitch:

The proposal to join with Lochend was discussed with the main points being,

1) Hibeernian would be re-named Lochend Hibeernian
  1. team colours would eventually become red & white
  2. each player registered with Hibeernian would have to pay £10 per season to Lochend
  3. the use of Lochends training facility for one hour on either tue/wed or thurs, at a cost of around £40
  4. the use of Seafield pitches for home games at a cost of around £43 per game
this was held to a vote with the majority voting against on the grounds of changing team name and colours, not being favourable to using Seafield due to having experienced poor drainage there, and that designated training facility is only required for around 2 months per season.

It was announced that EADSAFA had offered Saughton Astro as a home pitch at an estimated cost of £58 per game. This was voted unanimously in favour of YES.

Website:

it was agreed that pitchero.com would continue to be used as the clubs main website. A domain name would be purchaced at an estimated cost of £6 per 2 years. The expected name would be www.hibeernianafc.co.uk

Each player who features is required to raise £50 minimum personal sponsorship (but more would be preferred) as it is a request of the legends team that we raise £1,000. The total raised would be split 50/50 with the former players association and Hibeernians own choice charity.
