The player intended to sign almost two weeks ago but was at that point still signed with a former SSML team Bairnfica. The Falkirk supporters club informed their association the SSFL (Scottish Supporters Football League) that they wished to de-register the player but when League secretary for EADSAFA tried to register Callum with Hibeernian, the master computer at SAFA still had him listed as a Bairnfica player, and therefore couldn't register him with another Sunday Football association!!
Manager John Pryde and Callum himself spent the last 10 days calling Bairnfica, the SSFL, SAFA at Hampden as well as many calls and texts to the EADSAFA registration secretary, and finaly got the all clear today at around 4:55........just 5 minutes before the Hampden office closed for the weekend.
Hibeernian are delighted to have Callum on board and look forward to this weekends game away to Albion AFC, 1:30 ko at Birkenside.
thanks to Callum for 'permitting' us to use his lovely facebook fotie ;-)
