After the successful return of the Highland 7s in 2012, we are now pleased to announce that we will be holding the tournament at Canal Park, Inverness on Saturday 20th April 2013. The exact format of the tournament will depend on the number of teams, but we hope to attract 20-24 teams again. The event last year attracted teams from all over Scotland and a guest side made up of players from Ireland, England and Wales.

Our Tournament is the biggest 7s competition in the Highlands and one of the biggest in Scotland. We attract a mixture of club and social sides and would be delighted for you to be involved this year. Last years format included a Cup, Bowl and Shield competition starting at 12 noon with the final around 6.30pm. For those on the sidelines we have a beer tent as well as a fully stocked clubhouse, burger and food stalls and not to mention our famous Highland hospitality.

We are encouraging Teams to make a weekend of it and will be arranging an after party at one of the local nightclubs as per 2012. Teams will also be able to camp at the clubhouse, but there are also a number of hostels and other accommodation providers in Inverness itself, which we can recommend to you.

We are asking that any team who are interested in playing at the 7's, to notify us by email that they would like to enter. We will be sending official invites to all clubs in February.
