Good pressure from the kick-off by Highland saw the team encamped in the Gordonstoun half-first seven minutes of play.

Cailean Fraser scored the first try through a good handling move by the backs. After a line-out on the half way line a good ruck was set up on the Gordonstoun twenty-two and through four phases of impressive off-loading was finished of by Hamish McColm for Highlands second try.

A catch from the kick-off by Tommy McLean who off-loaded to Calum McPherson who made good yards before off-loading to Fraser MacLennan who sent the ball wide to Dominic Lloyd who outpaced the defence to score Highland's third.

Gordonstoun started strongly in the second-half to score two tries. In reply, Lewis Marshall collected a restart who off-loaded and after passing through five pairs of hands Cailean Fraser scored his second by breaking tackles and scored under the posts. Five minutes later from a scrum on the half way line, Calum McPherson picked up and charged to the twenty-two and in the tackle off-loaded to Andrew Grey with great support play scored Highland's fifth.

A very good performance by Highland whose off-loading, ball presentation and good low body position in the ruck provided a great platform for a comfortable win. Thanks to Gordonstoun for a competitive match and their hospitality afterwards. Man of the match Cailean Fraser for his unstoppable line breaks.
