Hosts Too Good For Highland
Highland took on the hosts in the second match of the day.
A well organised, good handling team showed Highland how to move the ball out wide to out pace the defence to score.
Highland flagging a bit after the exploits of the Currie game started to miss tackles and became more pedestrian at rucks. Highland had some good chances in both halves but with penalties going against them found themselves on the back foot.
A competitive match but Highland need to improve on fitness and line speed in defence.
Man of the matche(s) Alan Cruickshank for leading the line well and good line breaks.
