As part of the Haddington's celebrations of 700 years of having a Royal Charter, Haddington Rugby Football Club are attempting to break the World Record of 442 players for a continuous game of touch rugby on Sunday 12th August. The game is expected to take from 9am to around 2pm.
Open to all over the age of five, details, including how to register if you want to take part, can be found here:
The event will also be raising money for Wooden Spoon the children's charity of rugby, if you would like to donate you can do so here:
The event will be part of Royal Bank of Scotland Rugby Force day, with HRFC winning one of two "Hero Club" awards. There will be at least one current internationalist present. There will also be food, drink and a range of amusements available.
Grateful if you could publicise this in your clubs, and would be fantastic to have some of you take part: 10 minutes minimum of touch, and you can become a "record breaker"
