Support Highland To Promotion

3 weeks ago By Peter Martin

The big match is on this Saturday and will Highland make promotion as champions – you bet they will.

Coach Dave Carson has a strong squad assembled with only two regulars missing, Sean Blair and Steven Rutledge, but Oscar Baird comes back. Giving the home side’s recent form they must be very confident of gaining the points required. However, St Boswells despite their problems with assembling a squad will be a difficult prospect as they have beaten Highland twice already this season. The balancing factors could be the 4G pitch which will mean a fast game suiting Highland’s qualities and the expected huge home support.

Some important information posted by the Bar Team:

Important information for spectators:
The club are expecting a large crowd on Saturday to cheer on the first team. Please find below some information for your comfort and safety;
1) In addition to the main bar, there will be two pop up bars. One located on the balcony and the other pitch side, at the floral hall end of the complex.
2) The bars will be open from 1.30 pm.
3) A burger stall will be situated pitch side, at the river end of the complex. There will be no food available upstairs in the club house.
4) Please make use of the litter bins provided.
5) There will be club stewards at the gates and at the entrance to the club house. Please ensure you bring your membership card to use for reduced entry fee for the match and to use in the club house bar.
Finally, once again, we would like to thank all our loyal supporters and sponsors for your backing throughout the season.

Come along and see history in the making.

Sunday News
Highland’s U15 Girls travel to BT Murrayfield on Sunday to play Lismore in the National Shield Final. This truly is a big achievement as this is the first season of the squad playing together. The Nairn Rugby Festival goes ahead at Nairn Academy on Sunday and Highland are sending one P6/7 and one P4/5 squad due to a restriction on numbers. For the players not making the trip Mini & Micro training goes ahead as normal – 11am at Canal Park.
