This Saturday - Greens ON, Reds OFF
The battle to get players to improve their commitment to travelling continues.
The Greens will likely travel through to league leaders Aberdeenshire with a basic fifteen and will have a tough time coming away with any league points. This on-going crisis will surely condemn Highland to the finish near the bottom of the league.
The Reds home match with Aberdeen University is postponed as the students can't raise a team.
Acting Coach Craig Little has called a meeting for Monday evening at the clubhouse at 7.30pm to discuss the situation. Everyone involved with club is invited to come along and discuss the situation.
It is sad to see that the senior players who have put so little into the club off the pitch now can’t even see to supporting the club on the pitch.
The U18’s have a home fixture against Deeside and although they were idle in the league Coach John Carson organised a friendly to keep the boys match ready. Confidence is high for another win and maintaining an unbeaten run to the title.
The U16’s and U15's are both inactive as Deeside have pulled out of both fixtures.
The Mini and Micro Sections split apart again this Sunday. The Micros have a home training session while the P6/7’s head to the Stirling County Festival and the P4/5’s travel to the Ross Sutherland tournament.
