The Harriers look to upset the Gladiators res good start to the season. Matlock Town Reserves are looking to extend a winning run to 3, after beating AFC Kilburn and Mickleover RBL respectively away from home when they travel to The Mease on 15th September.
The Harriers themselves are in fine form, unbeaten so far this season with one win and two draws to date and look to get the 3 points to move up the table. The management team of Coyle and Browne have a headache between them as instrumental players are coming back from injuries and new signings. Scott Abbey, Ed Woodward, Dan Waltho are nursing knocks but should be available for selection against The Gladiators res.The Harriers are still without Andy Castlehow who is gallivanting abroad. Joe Condon is another loss for Harriers as he heads back up the M1 to Leeds for university which may pave way to new signing David 'Busta' Paul.
The reserves have however are also looking to have a say in the squad with two wins, one draw and a loss. The management team will be going to The Mease this weekend to watch the reserves who play Eastwood Hanley Reserves. Manager Archer will be looking at the boys to bounce back from the defeat against Newport Town with a good start to the game. The players who did play against Newport no exactly what is needed in the next game, start from the first whistle, work harder, work together and play the Harriers way.
