After a one year break to complete major redevelopment works, Hinckley RFC are hosting the 3rd Hinckley Spring Beer Festival. This year the festival will be held in the Club’s new function suite over the weekend of March 31 to April 2. It will be a combination of great beer, food, spirits, music and people.

The festival will offer a selection of 21 real ales chosen from breweries as far apart as Cornwall and Edinburgh, together with 13 quality real ciders. A full bar service will be available throughout the weekend and a selection of unique gin cocktails are being prepared for those wanting to drink something of a more spiritual nature. Food will be themed and will be confirmed on our Facebook event site nearer the date with the exception of the Sunday which will remain serviced by our Sunday Roast. Currently local bands ‘Bodgers Mate’, ‘Falling Angels’, and ‘Razors Edge’ will be providing the entertainment over the weekend with more to be announced.

In line with the annual Sausage and Cider festival held over the August Bank holiday, the Hinckley Spring Beer Festival is open to the public and gives an opportunity to try out our fabulous new facility. ‘We hope to see many new faces down at Leicester Road alongside our usual supporters,’ states Festival organizer Nick Robinson and adds, ‘We have a number of events and activities planned at the Club which we hope will appeal to the whole community. We are after all a community club’.
The event will open on the Friday evening at 6.00pm to 11.30pm, again at noon until 11.30pm on the Saturday, and conclude on the Sunday, 11.00 until 3.00pm. Admission will be just £3, with a discount of £1 for CAMRA members.
