Pre season training for the 2017/18 season begins next Tuesday (4th July) at 7pm. The sessions are open to all players, new and old, and anyone is welcome to turn up - if you want to speak to someone in advance please contact director of rugby George Chuter whose contact details are on the 1st XV page.

1st XV pre season fixtures are confirmed as Cinderford (away 12th august), Tonbridge (home 19th august) and Broadstreet (away, 24th August).

It has been a quiet summer with the whole of last years squad recommitting for the 17/18 season, with three incomers - Gareth Turner and Gareth Clarke from South Leicester and Neil Farthing from Tynedale. As well as George taking over from Paul Walsh, Phil Llewelyn has taken over as head coach with Chris Campbell deciding to take a back seat after 5 years. He will still be involved running the analysis programme. Emyr Lewis, Scott Hamilton, Darren Grewcock and Tom Hames all continue their respective roles also.
